This past weekend at Pebble Beach was definitely one to remember.

I have loved cars since I was a little kid, so being able to attend an event like Monterey Car Week and have the honor of being hosted by Jaguar was honestly an incredible experience for me.

There are certain moments in life where you realize that something you dreamed about as a kid has somehow become part of your reality.

For me, this weekend felt like one of those moments.

When I first arrived at the Portola Hotel, I was already excited about everything that was about to happen. Then I walked into the front lounge and saw a McLaren F1 sitting there that was getting ready for auction and ended up selling for over $30 million.

I honestly could not believe I was looking at one in person.

I loved playing Need for Speed Hot Pursuit on my PlayStation as a kid, and the McLaren F1 was one of my favorite cars to drive in the game. So seeing this exact car in person for the first time brought back a lot of memories from when I was younger and first developed my love for cars.

It was one of those moments where you almost forget that you are there as an adult experiencing something professionally because a part of you immediately goes back to being that kid sitting in front of the television playing a racing game.

There are certain cars that you do not just see. You remember where you were when you first fell in love with them.
